We arrived at the hotel excited but were seriously let down by the noise. Despite the supposed quiet hours, we heard loud music and shouting until almost midnight, which ruined our sleep. Not the romantic getaway we hoped for!

I loved the magical hotel.
It had unique atmosphere and everything was perfect. The staff was pleasant and efficient at all levels. Apartment was spotless and exceptional with a hot tub. The location was incredible, at a short distance from D & d s & s Club. Late check-out was useful.

The staff were welcoming, and the complimentary prosecco upon arrival was such a nice touch. The spa facilities were good, though a bit small. We indulged in great food at the onsite restaurant and enjoyed a spacious, clean room with a cozy jacuzzi.

Property was simply stunning and beautifully decorated, we loved this place.
We needed a place for celebrating birthday, everything was second to none. The staff members were attentive and hospitable. This hotel was set in a very central area really close to the many areas around the bar of an evening, shops in Bowness and Windermere, and main restaurant. Furthermore, close to everything that you love in Windermere: D

The only negative thing was that the W-Lan did not work.

beautiful decor, friendly staff, especially in restaurant and bar, good breakfast
We went at a Bank Holiday so price was very high for standard of hotel. The standard was good but overpriced for that weekend.

I had a fantastic stay with great value for the money, and the room was both cozy and beautifully decorated. The staff welcomed us warmly and were attentive throughout, making our experience even better, especially Mark and Patrick.
Food for breakfast could use more options for runny eggs.

Breakfast and equipment were fine!
The room was way too small.

The room was large and spacious, as was the bathroom. Nice little terrace in front of the room. Breakfast good and staff helpful and friendly.
Parking lot very full, hardly any space available. Spa overcrowded and pool therefore could not be used

Good breakfast.
Quite warm in the room. The window can't be widely opened. Also the curtain has to be shut at bed time as the street lights are clearly seen outside our window. So not very comfortable to stay in warm/hot weather.
